The seeds of the Pravah –NSS relationship were sown in the year 2008, when NSS invited Pravah to be part of the NSS advisory board to contribute towards enhancing and deepening the NSS programme in the Delhi University. Pravah and NSS have been on a regular dialogue since then. Through this partnership, Pravah willwork intensively with the programme coordinator, programme officers and student leaders, who are the torchbearers of the NSS programme, to create learning opportunities that will help them carry forward their responsibilities in the most effective ways. Through this effort, we will co-create a model for effective leadership and active citizenship within NSS. Some of the key elements of the engagement with the student leaders will be: Building self-awareness Leadership skills Social action. Communication for change.
